What is a Flexible Spending Account?

A Flexible Spending Account is an account into which you contribute money from your salary before taxes are withheld.  The account is available to you to reimburse your out-of-pocket health care and dependent care expenses.

How does a Flexible Spending Account work?

Our account administration is conducted by FlexSystem, a division of Total Administrative Services Corporation (TASC).

With a FlexSystem Claim Card you can pay at the point of service for your eligible care and expenses.  It looks and works like a typical debit card. Paying with your FlexSystem Claim Card eliminates the need to submit a request for reimbursement by paper, fax, or the web.
